Erma Odessa Garner Morris, 104, of 306 Allgood St., Roxboro, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro. Born in Carrol County, GA, Mrs. Morris was the daughter of the late Columbus H. and Nancy Jane Hammond Garner, wife of the late Ozie D. Morris and mother of the late Louise M. Taylor. Mrs. Morris retired from Roxboro Yarns and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her sons, Raeford Morris and Ervin Morris, both of Roxboro; her daughter, Dorothy M. Taylor, of Roxboro; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen Great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2PM, Tuesday, Grace United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ross Thompson. Burial will follow in Person Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1PM to 2PM, Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Shephard, Chad Sanford, Randy Morris, Brad Morris, Tommy Taylor, Joey Dixon. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Shepard and Mark Jones.
