Alma Harris Berry, age 101, of 9612 Berry Road died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Person Memorial Hospital. Born in Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Wade Harris and Mollie Cothran Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Berry; one son, Carl Berry; three brothers, Clyde Harris, Rich Harris, and Briar Harris; one sister, Madeline Walker; one grandson, Jerry Foushee. She was the oldest member of Berry's Grove Baptist Church where she was very active in Sunday School and the Woman's Missionary Union.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Wilma Foushee, Joyce Snipes (Alfred), Bill Berry (Bonnie) all of Timberlake, and Jean Ashley (Arnold) of Roxboro; seven grandchildren, and fourteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Berry's Grove Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Craig Willingham. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 PM Wednesday at Berry's Grove Baptist Church followed by a praise and worship service. The family will also receive friends immediatley following the service on Thursday.
