Kenneth Raymond Emser, 85, of 1890 Blalock Dairy Rd., Roxboro, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Born in Cleveland, OH, Mr. Emser was the son of the late Frank and Edna Doll Emser and wife of the late Barbara Ann Rule Emser. Mr. Emser was a devout Catholic being a member of Sts. Mary & Edward Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He retired from Eaton Corp. after 34 years. Mr. Emser is also preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, Ed, Art, and Bob Emser and his sisters, Caroline Moser, Hazel Thornicroft and Margaret Fittipaldi. Mr. Emser served in the US Army during the Korean War Era.

Mr. Emser is survived by two children, Melissa E. Lancaster, of the home and Kenneth Joseph Emser, of Walkertown; one sister, Genevieve Kelly, of Euclid, OH. Melissa served as his primary caregiver during the last several years of his life as his health declined. The family wishes to thank the staff of Roxboro Family Medicine, particulary Elizabeth Buno, PA-C, and her RN clinical assistant, Brittany, for their many years of support and assistance.

A memorial mass service will be held 10AM Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Sts. Mary & Edward Catholic Church by the Father William Rodriguez. Burial will follow in Person Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-7:30PM Friday at the Brooks & White Funeral Home.
