Larry Thomas Estes, 74, of Semora died Friday, November 24, 2017 at his home. He was born in Durham County to the late George Daylon Estes and Lorena Jackson Estes. In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Estes. Mr. Estes served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War in the 4420 Combat Support Group. He was a general foreman for Iron Workers and later worked at Cogentrix for 15 years.

Surviving are three children, Beth Estes Everage (Ralph), of Florida, James Thomas Estes, of Florida, and Christi Estes Wilkerson, of Raleigh; two sisters, Joyce E. Duncan and Charlotte E. Overaker, both of Durham; three grandchildren, Megan Anaya (Carmelo), Sam Everage and Zachary Wilkerson; and great-grandchildren, Micah and Lina Ananya.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Pleasant Green United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Forest Gale officiating. Visitation will follow the service.

Pallbearers will be Keith Hayes, Adam Winstead, Sam Everage, Zachary Wilkerson, Shawn Garrard, and Wayne Winstead.
