George Allen Napier, 72, of 535 Cunningham Road died Friday, April 21, 2017. He was born in Person County to the late William and Betty Poole Napier. George was a man that loved his family, God, his church, hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He had a humble, kind, generous heart, and was a one of a kind Papa. Mr. Napier was a member of Lebanon Christian Church where he served as a deacon. He retired from building power plants as a rigging foreman. George was featured in Time Magazine for hard work and dedication to his profession.

Surviving are his wife, Gracie Boyd Napier, of over 47 years whom he adored and she adored him; two loving daughters, Carol Denise Napier, of Semora and Cynthia "Cindy" Danielle Martin and husband Daniel, of Roxboro; five precious grandchildren, Connor, Ethan, Caine, Alexis, and Eric; three brothers, Earl Napier, Johnny Napier, and Homer Napier; and two sisters, Berta Shelton and Josephine Vaughn.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 24, 2017 at Lebanon Christian Church with the Rev. Wiley Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00-6:30 Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Brooks and White Funeral Home and other times at the home.
